Parents and teachers working together can help a child develop to his or her full potential. As much as Raynor Country Day School encourages its children to be active learners, it encourages parents to assume an active role of involvement in the Raynor Country Day School community as well.

There are many ways a Raynor parent can participate in school activities. You might like to join a class on a field trip, become a mystery reader, or volunteer to present a special program in the classroom. You may consider volunteering or baking for our Holiday Festival, assisting with our Chinese Auction or Journal Committee, organizing a children’s craft event, book fair, or joining our own Parent Teacher Friend Organization (PTF). PTF organizational meetings are scheduled to meet three times during the school year.

There are also many opportunities to become involved in activities that may interest you. We encourage you to try new things. You’ll find being an active parent at Raynor Country Day School is satisfying and fun. Your involvement will introduce you to a shared community of other interesting, talented, and caring people. It is our goal to provide relationships that will grow and develop between receptive individuals both young and old.
